About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia's leading providers of intellectual property services as a Patent Legal Assistant. The firm has a strong reputation built over many years of experience providing a variety of services in the protection, commercialisation, enforcement and management of intellectual property rights.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and actioning production of accurate and compliant documents related to patent matters locally and internationally.
  • Scheduling and managing deadlines for document completion.
  • Establishing effective work practices to manage the life-cycle of patent files from opening to closure.
  • Managing electronic and hard copy file content and driving the bill generation cycle.
  • Maintaining client contact information and recording accurate details about client-related activities.
Requirements
  • Administration skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and organisational skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
