About the Role

We are seeking talented Clinical Research Fellows in Medical Oncology to contribute to our dynamic team.

In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in patient care, focusing on clinical trials. You will collaborate closely with Consultant Medical Oncologists and Clinical Trial Unit staff to deliver high-quality inpatient and ambulatory care.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of cancer research, leveraging your clinical expertise to advance innovative treatments and therapies.

You will engage with external partners, including clinical research organisations, pharmaceutical groups, and collaborative trial networks, developing valuable experience and relationships within the wider research community.

The role offers a rewarding blend of clinical responsibility and academic involvement, challenging you to maintain trial enrolment and oversight alongside experienced consultants.

  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia, and have completed the Part One FRACP exam along with two years of Medical Oncology Advanced Training.
  • Demonstrate high standards of clinical practice, professional integrity, and adaptability while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Be able to work within a multidisciplinary team, exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication, documentation skills, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Display a research-focused mindset, understanding of clinical research principles, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), with desirable experience in clinical research programs and the publication or presentation of research outcomes.
