About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly experienced transfer pricing specialist to join our Global Transfer Pricing Services practice in Sydney, Australia.
  • As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in advising multinational clients across a broad range of industries and business models on transfer pricing matters.
  • You will conduct financial, economic, value chain and benchmarking analysis to prepare transfer pricing documentation and assist clients to plan, support and defend their transfer pricing arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic guidance to clients on transfer pricing strategies and policies to minimize tax risks and optimize returns.
  • Conducting thorough financial and economic analysis to determine the arm's length nature of transactions.
  • Preparing comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, including reports and presentations, to support clients' transfer pricing arrangements.
  • Engaging with clients and ATO officials to ensure effective communication and resolution of transfer pricing issues.
  • Developing and implementing operational transfer pricing models into ERP systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Finance or Law.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transfer pricing advisory and compliance, preferably in a Big 4 firm or corporate environment.
  • Strong technical analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in conducting financial, economic and value chain analysis, as well as preparing transfer pricing documentation.
