About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients across antenatal, postnatal, gynaecology services, including labour ward and reproductive health services.
- Provide perioperative care, operative services, and post-operative follow-up for specialist gynaecological patients.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate the work of junior staff in the provision of inpatient care and medical student education.
- Participate in continuous medical education, professional development, peer review, research, teaching, quality improvement activities.
Our hospital is a 360-bed facility offering services and care across a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, general medicine, rehabilitation, oncology, respiratory medicine, HITH, palliative care, renal, endocrinology, haematology, neurology, anaesthetics, ENT, urology, general surgery, O&G, paediatrics, and allied health services.

Eligibility:- General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain.
- IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam).
- IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland).
- IMGs assessed by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RANZCOG may express their interest).
- Have experience working as an O&G Registrar/Medical Officer.
