About the Role
Production and assembly of barrier gates and arms require attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read work orders. The assembler will set up and operate assembly equipment, prepare work areas, and maintain cleanliness and organization. Additionally, they will perform hardware assembly and electrical wiring in gate production, pre-assemble components, and package finished products. Other duties may include maintaining inventory, performing quality control checks, and assisting in training new employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assemble barrier gates and arms using various tools and equipment.
2. Set up and operate assembly equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
3. Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
4. Perform hardware assembly and electrical wiring in gate production.
5. Pre-assemble components and package finished products.
6. Maintain accurate records of production and quality control processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
1. At least one educational or occupational diploma.
2. Experience in mechanical assembly.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to work well in a team environment.
5. Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
6. Proficiency with small to medium electrically operated and hand tools.
