Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to provide system development and data quality services, support, and reports to the business.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support the organisation's strategic goals.
  • They will also design and build reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and SSRS.

About the Role

  • This role is responsible for providing high value data quality services, support and reports to the business.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • They will also troubleshoot reporting issues by analysing and restructuring SQL queries.

  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, implement and maintain business intelligence solutions to support the organisation's strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Higher: In Information Technology or equivalentTechnical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java or C#
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and developers
