Job Overview

The Role

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Technician to join our team in Perth, working on projects across Western Australia.

In this key position, you will play a vital role in modifying and producing accurate and detailed structural and civil design documentation, primarily using REVIT software and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review, modify, and produce structural and civil graphical documentation, including layout plans and details, for structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details, etc.
  2. Prepare drawings for structural and infrastructure projects using Revit software and AutoCAD.
  3. Issue drawings and documents.
  4. Assist with library of standard details and Revit families.
  5. Maintain register of drawings for projects.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  1. Proven experience with AutoCAD software; Revit and MicroStation are a plus.
  2. Knowledge in modelling structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details, etc.
  3. Knowledge of CAD standards in VicRoads, MTM, DIT, etc.
  4. Modelling, documentation, and collaboration experience.
  5. Experience working on collaborative platforms such as ProjectWise.
