Salary Package
- The salary range for this position is approximately $80,000 – $110,000 per annum, taking into account the cost of living in Darwin.
Job Description
This role involves working closely with mature-aged individuals and those with varying disabilities to promote independence, improve daily living skills, and enhance overall quality of life. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities and formulating individualized treatment plans.
- Providing hands-on therapeutic interventions and developing appropriate goals to address clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
- Demonstrated experience working as an OT, preferably in a similar clinical setting.
- Sound knowledge of OT principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
