Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Services Specialist to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Pre-Analytical Services team, providing a high level of customer service and care to patients during phlebotomy procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing specimens in the pre-analytical stage to ensure quality samples for testing
  • Ensuring accurate entry of patient/testing information into laboratory computer systems
  • Working effectively with an integrated multidisciplinary team

In this role, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise in phlebotomy and specimen management, contributing to the timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need to have:

  • A current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Working With Children Check (DHS)
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description
