We are seeking motivated field and laboratory technicians to join our team at Qualtest Laboratory (NSW) Pty Ltd, a leading provider of geotechnical, environmental, and testing services in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and Regional NSW.

As a Geotechnical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field work, including supervision, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregate, and concrete, as well as laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, rock, and concrete.

You will also be responsible for calculating, checking, reporting, and certifying test results, as well as routine calibration and set-up of equipment.

Vital attributes for this role include good communication and numerical skills, reliability, punctuality, and honesty. A positive, can-do attitude is essential, and prior experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided on-the-job.

We offer competitive salaries, including regular penalty rates with overtime and weekend work available. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is located within close proximity to the University of Newcastle at Mayfield West within the Steel River Estate.
