JMD design is a landscape architectural practice dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable outdoor environments that enhance the social, cultural, and environmental well-being of communities.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized team player to contribute to the design, documentation, and contract administration of landscape projects across various scales and types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop landscape projects that meet client needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with directors, senior staff, and other landscape architects to deliver high-quality projects
  • Assist with contract administration and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong communication, design, and graphic skills
  • Working knowledge and experience of plants and landscape construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, or Rhino
  • Vectorworks is a plus
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • A current driver's license is desirable
