Business Solutions Analyst:

As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models that support business operations and decision-making processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse data, identify trends, and create models that enable accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

The key responsibilities of the Business Solutions Analyst include:

  • Financial Model Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust financial models to support business service delivery operations.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, validate, and analyse relevant data from multiple sources, including financial systems, operational databases, and external market data.
  • Budget / Forecasting and Planning: Utilize historical data, market trends, and business forecasts to create reliable financial budgets / forecasts.
  • Model Maintenance and Enhancement: Regularly review and update existing financial models to ensure their accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior leadership, to understand their requirements and provide them with insightful financial analysis.

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • A Master's degree would be desirable.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a financial/business analyst, or similar role including financial modelling.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level: AGSVA Negative Vetting - NV1.
  • Current Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence; and Construction Induction Card (White Card).
