Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced nursing assessment and management for patients with dementia
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Deliver education and training to patients, carers, and staff on best practice care for people with dementia
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to dementia care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification
- Experience working in a senior clinical role in dementia management and acute aged care
- Relevant postgraduate qualification or clinical experience
- Commitment to enrolling in and completing a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia-approved program of study leading to nurse practitioner endorsement
