Job Opportunity: Communications Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Expert to join our team in the Industry Strategy & Partnerships Division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, public relations, or communications, with significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the public sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative professional to make a meaningful contribution to our organisation's communication and digital services strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies and activities;
  • Collaborating with the forest industries project team to identify communications requirements;
  • Utilising the skills of the broader Communications Branch to effect desired outcomes;

The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

They will also have strong initiative and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

As a valued member of our team, the Communications Expert will contribute to the development and implementation of our communication and digital services strategy, and play a key role in delivering high-level communications that engage and inform our stakeholders.
