Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions within the business, supporting the Management Accountant and CFO in financial report preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Providing guidance to both the administration and accounts payable teams.
  • Supporting the operating business, ensuring accurate and timely creation of customer invoices.
  • Preparing and lodging monthly payroll tax reporting and BAS reporting.
  • Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS for related party entities.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Commerce/Business/Accounting (or equivalent) is required. VCE completion is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Outlook, Project, Excel).

Good communication skills and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Able to work as part of, and lead a team under pressure, personal drive, initiative, and resourcefulness are highly valued.
