Nuvei, a leading Canadian fintech company, is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in accelerating the distribution of our innovative payment solutions across the fintech industry.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in sales within global enterprises, preferably with expertise in the payments industry. If you have 1-3 years of experience in a sales role and possess strong operational skills, we want to hear from you

About the Role
  • Establish a robust pipeline of sales opportunities and accurately forecast sales to senior management.
  • Develop new sales opportunities and identify high-value prospects, focusing on selling Nuvei's products to e-commerce, digital goods, and retail merchants.
  • Present large-scale technical products and innovative solutions to prospects at C-level.
  • Directly identify and develop new sales partnership programs with merchants.
  • Showcase your international mindset and ability to coordinate cross-country projects and capitalize on new opportunities from partners and industry regulatory changes.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in sales within global enterprises, preferably in the payments industry.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within the payment industry.
  • Strong operational skills and ability to be hands-on with tasks and missions.
  • Proven success in complex c-level negotiations, including all technical, compliance, legal, and commercial aspects.
  • Significant track record of achievement and success within the targeted field of expertise.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships to gain and share information, such as industry trends.
  • Creative problem solver and ability to manage stressful situations while juggling multiple challenges.
  • Good organizational skills and willingness to travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language: Fluent in English. Other languages an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly motivated team player.
