We are seeking an exceptional Senior Heavy Equipment Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of skilled mechanics and ensuring the timely servicing and repair of clients' heavy equipment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of experienced diesel mechanics, overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. You will have extensive trade experience in the construction equipment sector, with a strong focus on leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled mechanics to achieve outstanding results
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, prioritizing tasks and optimizing workflow
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for team members
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Valid Australian driver's license and any additional qualifications or licenses relevant to the role

Salary Range: $80-$120 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
