Service Delivery Expert - Java Applications

As a seasoned Service Delivery Expert, you will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end service delivery of Java-based applications in the Airport/Airline domain. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high availability and performance of these critical systems.

You will manage incident, problem, and change processes to maintain application stability and compliance with SLAs. Additionally, you will collaborate with business stakeholders (airlines, airports, operations teams) to align IT services with aviation operational needs.

Driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures for recurring issues in mission-critical airline systems will be another key aspect of your responsibilities. You will oversee development, deployment, and support of Java applications used for passenger services, flight operations, and ground handling.

Ensuring adherence to ITIL processes, security policies, and regulatory standards relevant to aviation is crucial for this role. You will coordinate with vendors, partners, and offshore teams for seamless delivery and support.

Monitoring KPIs, preparing service performance reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives are essential tasks that you will undertake. Furthermore, you will provide technical leadership to support teams, mentoring them on Java and airline-specific applications.

Lastly, you will act as a single point of accountability for application delivery, ensuring operational excellence in the airline/airport environment.
