Job Title: Integrated Logistics Support Lead

This role involves leading logistics support activities for a national defence infrastructure project. The goal is to upgrade Australia's military air traffic control systems across multiple RAAF bases.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The position entails supporting and personally undertaking Integrated Logistics Support activities, including development, implementation, and hands-on analysis tasks.
  • You will be responsible for conducting and overseeing logistics support analysis activities to optimise maintenance strategies and sparing requirements.
  • The role requires leadership of a dedicated ILS team, with a focus on developing key training programs and technical documentation supporting the transition from legacy systems.
  • Stakeholder relationships including military personnel and industry partners need to be coordinated.
  • You will drive continuous improvement in logistics support processes while ensuring compliance with Defence regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A university degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant logistics engineering experience in complex technical environments is necessary.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in logistics support analysis and documentation is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated logistics systems and maintenance requirement methodologies is required.
  • The ability to lead teams and deliver technical ILS outputs personally is crucial.
