Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled WHS Support Officer to provide administration support, advice, and coordination to assist in the delivery of workforce services, programs, and initiatives within our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Work Health and Safety and excellent communication skills.

About the Role
  • Provide administrative support to the HSW team members as required.
  • Assist with incident investigations for worker incidents and hazards reported through the incident management system.
  • Offer user support and troubleshooting for HSW-related systems.
  • Contribute to monitoring compliance with mandatory HSW training and certificates.
  • Help onboard new users to HSW systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HSW team, including data entry, document preparation, and other tasks as needed.
  2. Incident Investigations: Assist in investigating worker incidents and hazards reported through the incident management system, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  3. User Support: Offer technical support and troubleshooting for HSW-related systems, providing solutions to users' queries and issues.
  4. Compliance Monitoring: Contribute to monitoring compliance with mandatory HSW training and certificates, ensuring employees meet their obligations.
  5. Onboarding: Help onboard new users to HSW systems and tools, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing downtime.
Requirements
  • A solid WHS experience in providing advice on workforce management policies and practices.
  • Experience working in the Public Sector as a WHS advisor.
  • Great interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
