Computational Hydrologist

Research Position in Computational Hydrology

We are seeking a researcher with expertise in Bayesian inference and computationally intensive inferential methodology to join our team. The appointed researcher will develop a space-time model for rainfall that integrates data from various sources and calibrate an expensive hydrological flood prediction model using observational data.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of research in computational Bayesian statistics and efficient program development for statistical computing. They must be proficient in modern statistical tools and libraries, strong programming skills in R and an efficient compiled language like C/C++ or Java/Scala.

Key qualifications include:

• Expertise in Bayesian inference and computationally intensive inferential methodology
