Job Title:

Creative Arts Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Creative Arts Educator to join our team. As an Arts Learning Officer, you will be responsible for delivering music programs in schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach students percussion skills in small groups and individually, both during school hours and before or after school.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and submit biannual reports to parents.
  • Develop ensembles through rehearsals and performances before and after school.
  • Support the Specialist Teacher in classroom-based band programs on a weekly basis during school hours.
  • Lead workshops and ensembles under the guidance of the Specialist Teacher, both during school hours and after school.
  • Maintain and manage instruments, including cleaning, tagging, and logging them.
Your Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of learning environments, lesson plans, technology, teaching practices, and assessment and feedback delivery.

You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work creatively and constructively to support diverse needs.

A relevant demonstrated experience and Working with Children Check clearance are essential requirements for this position.
