Experienced Wall

As a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler, you will be responsible for installing tiles according to design plans. Your expertise in measuring, cutting, and laying tiles will ensure a seamless finish. You must have Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study plans and examine surfaces to determine the amount of material needed
• Waterproofing application
• Seceding shower base surfaces
• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following plans
• Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces and corners, using hand and power cutting tools
• Mix and apply mortar or cement to edges and ends of drain tiles to seal halves and joints
• Prepare and apply tile adhesives, position the tile, and press or tap with a trowel handle to affix tile to the base
• Install tile in a planned area and arrange tiles per design plans
• Determine and implement the best layout to achieve a desired pattern
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges
• Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
• Apply grout with a rubber trowel
• Clean and level the surface to be tiled, removing any old tile, grout, and adhesive using chisels and scrapers
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tile
• Finish and dress the joints and wipe excess grout from between tiles using a damp sponge and apply necessary finishes such as sealants

• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler
