Market Risk Analyst/Senior Analyst

We are seeking a talented Quantitative Market Risk professional to join our Global Market Risk team in Sydney, who plays a key role in building and maintaining models covering all asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fundamental quantitative finance principles and techniques, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain Market Risk models including regulatory capital models for Traded Market Risk (under APS 116), and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (under APS 117).

Requirements:

  • Strong quantitative/computational finance knowledge and excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient programming skills and ability to traverse various programming languages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
