Gatehouse Security Officer Opportunity

We are seeking experienced security professionals to join our team, working in gatehouse operations. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security and safety of clients and their premises.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a gatehouse environment with integrity and professionalism.
  • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras & associated equipment effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, employees and members of the public with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confirm eligibility of persons entering the site as per policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively using appropriate methods of communication (e.g., radio, phone, logbooks) to report incidents and issues.
  • Utilize computer systems, including Email, Word and Excel, as required for tasks and duties.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Team Members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements, identifying and reporting all hazards and risks, then responding proactively.
  • Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols to ensure site security.
  • Adhere to company's policies and procedures, work instructions, standard operating procedures and safety requirements at all times.

About You:

  • Hold a current South Australian Security Licence.
  • Hold a current South Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate HLTAID0003.
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check.
  • Have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail, be organized, reliable and well presented.
  • Demonstrate a very high level of integrity and honesty at all times.
  • Be a positive team player with a professional attitude.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and people skills.
  • Have experience in delivering high-quality, customer-focused security services to clients.
  • Have experience in monitoring and operating CCTV cameras & associated equipment.
  • Excel in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a security-related field is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
