Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Queensland, Australia. As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care for young children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement play-based curricula that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the centre leadership team to develop and review early learning programs
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • Australian Capital Territory - Registration voluntary, not required
  • New South Wales - Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Northern Territory - Registration not required (non-mandated)
  • Queensland - Registration voluntary if eligible, not required
  • Victoria - Hold active registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Tasmania - Registration not required (non-mandated)
