Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical division in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical engineering aspects of our projects and ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with principal engineers to ensure the correct implementation of project designs.
- Review mechanical engineering studies, design drawings, and documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Resolve mechanical engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
- Establish the scope of work for each project or proposal.
- Schedule and expedite the work of the department.
- Develop organizational procedures, methods, and controls.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are followed.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure the technical integrity of discipline deliverables produced on the project.
- Coordinate activities with other departments and clients.
- Determine the need for investigation and research.
- Participate in the development of long-range plans.
- Establish project objectives and priorities.
- Provide expert advice on mechanical engineering design, process, and other methods.
- BS in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 25 years.
- Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and recognized as a specialist in mechanical engineering on large to mega projects.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and economic principles, calculation protection methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
