About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Lawyer to join our team at Axiom. As a Construction Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising on construction and infrastructure matters, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and providing legal advice on capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on construction and infrastructure matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Support in-house counsel with development and acquisition agreements on behalf of large, multi-regional developers.
- Provide legal advice on capital projects, including procurement, tender, risks, and liabilities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house within the construction & infrastructure industry.
- Experience and expertise in construction and/or infrastructure projects, including demonstrable experience of advising clients across the lifecycle from procurement, D&C to operations of major building or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to provide excellent client service and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Full Australian working rights and eligibility to practice in Australia.
