Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive mental health services across East Kimberley, including Kununurra, Warmun, Halls Creek, Kalumburu, and Wyndham.
- Provide clinical care to consumers, families, and carers, offering leadership, consultation, and support to healthcare professionals and partner agencies.
- Utilize telehealth services and travel to deliver community-based care.
- Mentor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry registrars, Aboriginal Liaison Officers, nurses, and allied health professionals.
**Unique Aspects of the Role**
No on-call duties required due to inpatient ward location in Broome (approximately 1000 km away).
Potential future model may involve working from Broome one week in five to enhance on-call work and peer engagement.
