Job Description

The Requirements Engineer is responsible for leading requirements engineering activities, including development, analysis, and lifecycle management of requirement sets. This role ensures traceability to system design and verification outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, analyze, and manage requirement sets to ensure alignment with system design and verification outcomes.
  • Provide technical support in integration engineering, V&V planning, test and evaluation, and certification processes.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering services covering regulatory compliance, resource planning, project reporting, and reviews of contract deliverables.
  • Utilize specialist tools and standards to manage requirements and verification processes in accordance with Defence and international engineering standards.
  • Produce technical documentation and analysis, such as hazard reports, engineering plans, certification materials, and design assessments to support Defence project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Engineering Management within Defence, government, or professional services.
  • Experience with RF environments and wireless communications in contested communications or electronic warfare domains.
  • Knowledge of digital communications protocols and signal conversion techniques.
  • Ability to drive processes and process improvements, including continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of US Export Controls, including Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) and Third Party Retransfer authorisations.
