Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a leading coal-fired power station in Australia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant through hands-on maintenance, fault finding, and equipment testing.

This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible 4-day roster (6am–5pm, Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday), providing an excellent work-life balance. The position offers a competitive remuneration package, including a base rate, tool allowance, and rural allowance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and systems
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification on electrical faults and issues
  • Test and commission new electrical equipment and systems
  • Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Electrical Licence
  • EEHA certification or experience working in hazardous areas
  • Confined Space Certificate
  • Working from Elevated Work Platforms (EWP)
  • Basic control system and PLC knowledge
  • Drivers Licence
  • Instrumentation or Electronics trade certificate (desirable)
  • First Aid Certificate
