Aerospace Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who want to make a real difference in the aerospace industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide engineering services to certify cargo load items for air transportation on fixed wing and rotary-wing transport aircraft.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs that are compliant with regulations and standards
  • Conduct engineering analysis including structural integrity, structural joints, restraint, shock and vibration
  • Participate in and develop artefacts for aerial delivery trial activities
  • Provide advice on aerial delivery requirements
  • Conduct task planning and updates
  • Communicate with external stakeholders
  • Review technical artefacts
  • Contribute to ongoing continuous training and system improvements
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Current Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 or higher)
  • Tertiary-level Engineering qualifications (Mechanical or Aerospace)
  • Desirable Skills:
  • 0-2 years' experience in applying skills in a technical environment – preferably Defence
  • Technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
