Store Operations Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised professional to oversee end-to-end store projects, ensuring seamless delivery of new store openings, refurbishments, relocations, and ongoing maintenance.

This is a key link between contractors, landlords, designers, and internal teams, guaranteeing that every project runs smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of store projects, from initial planning to final handover.
  • Liaise with centre management, shopfitters, designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, briefs, layouts, and scopes of work to drive project success.
  • Oversee design, construction, and defect management processes to maintain the highest standards.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while managing budgets and approvals to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Promote and uphold workplace health, safety, and wellbeing policies to create a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in building or retail construction.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to navigate complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite to drive project efficiency.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets and approve expenditure effectively.
  • A proactive mindset to juggle multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture or Project Management (desired, not essential).
