Senior Document Review Lawyer-Team Leader

A unique leadership opportunity has arisen for a Senior Document Review Lawyer-Team Leader to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of document review lawyers and paralegals, reporting to the Doc Review Manager.

Your New Role

As a Senior Document Review Lawyer-Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Instructing, delegating, reviewing, and trouble-shooting work given to and done by document review lawyers and paralegals;
  • Indirectly managing technical legal tech staff;
  • Liaising with Partners, lawyers, Project Manager, internal and external legal technologists to ensure all work meets cost, quality, and time expectations;
  • Assisting the Doc Review Manager with project management, lawyer and paralegal recruitment, training, business development, market intelligence, and national projects.

Who you are

We are looking for a qualified litigation or corporate lawyer (or ex-lawyer) with 3+ years of practical experience in document review and ediscovery. You should have strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key requirements include:

  • Law degree;
  • 3+ years of practical experience in document review and ediscovery;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
