About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Strategic Partners Specialist to join our team at SA Health.

Job Description:

The Senior Human Resource Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives and supporting the organisation's workforce management and development.

This key role coordinates the development and implementation of HR solutions, aligned with business objectives, which address key workforce challenges for the short, medium and long-term.

The successful candidate will promote HR best practices and SA Government people management principles and policies to achieve organisational success.

Duties:
  • Providing expert advice and support to manage and resolve sensitive, complex matters including conflict, underperformance, misconduct, grievances, complaints and investigations
  • Influencing, guiding and supporting Executive and Managers through high level technical matters by way of providing general HR advice, and the preparation of written briefs to outline options and associated risks for the delegate's consideration on matters of complex, contentious or critical nature
  • Assisting managers in the process of managing excess employees or employees with Non-Work Related Disability or Medical Incapacity
  • Contributing to the implementation of proactive workforce strategies and interventions within the designated account management area in order to assist managers drive continuous improvement, performance and accountability
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in providing sound advisory and consultancy services to senior management in a range of general HR matters, including advising on, interpreting, and administering legislative and policy requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and sound understanding of contemporary HR practices and approaches
  • Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of best practice policies, procedures, strategies and initiatives designed to improve human resource management practices
  • High level of communication and negotiation skills including the ability to compile concise written advice on complex and sensitive issues

We offer a competitive salary of $98,478 - $104,165 (Pro Rata) ASO6, as well as a range of benefits including salary packaging and flexible working arrangements.
