Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Coordinator to join our team in Croydon Park, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own program, working closely with the Director, and collaborating with other coordinators to deliver high-quality care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own program, including planning and implementing enriching experiences for children
  • Assisting with compliance documentation and parent enquiries
  • Engaging with the school community, including community events and communication
  • Playing and interacting with primary school-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Co-managing or coordinating during school holiday programs

You will work collaboratively with our Director of Service, Mentor, Regional Manager, team of Educators, and Head Office to ensure seamless delivery of our programs.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, working Monday to Friday, with Before School Care hours from 7:00am to 9:00am, After School Care hours from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, and Admin time at 4.5 hours per week. You will also work block shifts during Vacation Care time.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about working with children, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Previous experience in Before and After School Care is preferred but not essential. You will need to have strong problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
