Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Planner to join our team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane, Australia. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for scoping, estimating, planning, and scheduling all Electrical and Instrumentation work in a designated process area of the refinery.
Key Responsibilities- Work Order Management: Review the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) daily for approved notifications and create work orders as required.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work and populate the work order and workpack with tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, and other services required to execute the work.
- Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule preventative work orders, ensure statutory testing and compliance is maintained, and reserve all stock materials.
- CMMS Maintenance: Maintain the integrity of the CMMS and ensure that all work orders are accurately recorded and updated.
- Meetings and Communication: Attend and chair the Weekly Planning and Scheduling meetings and provide feedback on the work at the completion of the job.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Participate in the development and control of the R&M Area Budgets and provide input on cost-saving initiatives.
- Safety and Quality: Demonstrate a proactive role in identifying safety improvements and provide input on quality assurance and control.
- CMMS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, particularly SAP.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar industry or related industry workplace.
- Discipline Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant discipline and industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
