We are seeking a skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team.

As a Child Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and empowerment of children and young people in care.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, carers, service providers, and other stakeholders to create and implement effective case and permanency plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Social Sciences or related field OR at least 2 years' proven experience in OOHC Case Work/Management with a relevant diploma-level qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed practice and child protection legislation.
  • Experience working with CALD and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed practice and working with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and independent working skills.
  • NSW Working with Children Check, National Police History, and a valid driver's license.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations.
