About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our Maintenance division on Hamilton Island, a premier holiday destination in the Whitsundays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Perform construction and renovation works to ensure a high standard of quality.
  • Prioritize urgent repairs to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain and secure tools and equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of materials and time used.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy.
  • Collaborate with fellow maintenance staff and attend team meetings.
  • Take on additional tasks as directed by the Carpenter Supervisor.

About You:

We are looking for a proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently. You will need:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (Essential)
  • White Card
  • Driver's Licence
