Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team in a key operations management role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To implement effective policies and procedures ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in care
  • Manage daily program operations, including staff rostering and planning delivery of engaging activities and experiences for children that support their learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and positive relationships
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Monitor and manage finances for each program
  • Implement strategies to increase program enrolment and revenue
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in childcare services

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in OSHC leadership role
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of childcare regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, parents, and stakeholders
  • High level of organisational and time-management skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Sound financial management skills
  • Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
