Senior Software Tester Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tester to lead our testing efforts and ensure the highest quality standards are met.

This role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Lead test automation using tools like Appium and Selenium.
  • Conduct thorough database and API testing, including REST API validation.
  • Test mobile and web applications for functionality, performance, and security.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years in software testing, with 2+ years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Appium, Selenium) and scripting (Bash/Python).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, JIRA, and GIT.
  • Experience in iOS, Android, and security testing.
  • Background in billing or telecom preferred.
