About the Role

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Yuna Primary School. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain the cleanliness of the school's waste management systems
  • Clean and maintain the school's toilets, including restocking toilet paper and soap
  • Assist with the maintenance of the school's grounds, including mowing the lawn and trimming bushes
  • Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Reliable and punctual
