Senior Electronics Systems Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics service technician to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant trade qualifications in mechatronics, electronics, or electrical engineering
- Proven experience in a technical service or repair role with excellent fault-finding abilities and high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
- A valid passport and ability to travel freely to the UK and Europe
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, repairing, and documenting equipment. They will also provide technical advice and troubleshooting via phone and email support. Additionally, they will diagnose and repair faults on printed circuit boards and comply with all workplace safety and fire protection procedures.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the entertainment industry, especially with lighting control systems and moving lights. However, this is not a requirement.
The salary for this position is negotiable based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Repair Avolites lighting consoles, dimmer racks, power, and data distribution equipment
- Replace surface-mount components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting via phone and email support
- Diagnose and repair faults on PCBs
- Support Quality Assurance by testing production units as required
- Comply with all workplace safety and fire protection procedures
Available working hours include early starts from 6am with flexibility regarding start and finish times.
