Job Title: VAN Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VAN Team Leader to facilitate the day-to-day operations of our offices in South East Queensland.

  • This is a senior role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of legislation and policy.

The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver professional and accurate responses to client enquiries and requests. They will also be responsible for fostering a positive working relationship within the team to ensure service delivery aligns with national service standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Foster a positive working relationship within the team to ensure service delivery aligns with national service standards.
    • Provide senior point of escalation for cases, research and provide advice on the interpretation of legislation and policy.
    • Develop a learning environment and culture aimed at best practice in service delivery.
    • Coach, support and mentor team members; identify training needs and develop the necessary focus on areas of required development.
    • Actively participate in team meetings to ensure the team have a clear understanding of VAN objectives, issues and operational changes.
