Market Risk Director

The ideal candidate will lead our market risk management function, overseeing the analysis and mitigation of potential losses across our portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective market risk management strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and approve model validations, limit exceptions, and monitor market conditions.
  • Lead a team of risk professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold ethical risk practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in market risk management, with a strong focus on analytical and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of treasury, derivatives, and liquidity, with proficiency in Excel, VBA, and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • CFA or FRM certification is highly desirable.
