Truck Workshop Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Workshop Manager to join our team in Botany, NSW. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of 15 mechanics to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the workshop team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Allocate tasks to mechanics and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
  • Quality control all work coming out of the Workshop.
  • Invoicing and liaising with customers.
  • Professional ability to deal with Manufacturers.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards.
  • Assist in hands-on mechanical tasks as needed (20% of the role).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a qualified truck mechanic.
  • Experience with Mercedes Benz, Fuso or Freightliner Trucks is highly desirable.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
