  • They will engage with industry partners, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate their findings through scientific papers, reports, conferences, and workshops.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A PhD (or soon to be awarded) in knowledge representation and reasoning (artificial intelligence) or neurosymbolic AI or a related area.
  • Proven commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research with limited supervision.
  • A track record of publications and conference presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and build relationships.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders and students.
  • Understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities.
