Trailer Mechanic Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled trailer mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, with experience in fitting axles and suspension components, installing lights and electronic braking systems, and performing wheel alignments using modern camera alignment systems.

The role requires strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship, as well as the ability to work efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fitting axles and suspension components
  • Installing lights and electronic braking systems (EBS knowledge advantageous)
  • Performing wheel alignments using modern camera alignment systems
  • Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (highly desirable)
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Trade qualification in Diesel, Trailer, or Light Vehicle Mechanics
  • HR Licence (desirable)
  • Forklift Ticket (desirable)
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems highly valued
