Customer Service Representative

At Expeditors, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their freight forwarding needs are met with professionalism and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Proactively communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations, and provide timely and accurate information.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with customers, providing a personal and professional touch to our service.
- Process Ownership: Take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditor's internal processes, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous related experience and/or training in international freight forwarding, with a minimum of 3 years.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- General mathematical knowledge, including exchange rates, foreign currency, and general ledger codes.
