Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Leader to join our team. As part of our Organisational Development Department, you will lead a passionate team to facilitate the achievement of the City of Playford's WHS commitments.

You will establish and maintain a structure that provides for a pro-active and collaborative culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Risk Management
  • Work Health and Safety
  • Insurance Management
  • Crisis Management

You will work closely with the Senior Manager – Organisational Development to achieve positive outcomes and create an engaged and connected team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar position or in a WHS and Risk Management environment providing high-level specialist advice.
  • Experience in leading a team, particularly where you have coached and developed members of your team to support their success and effective service delivery.
  • Fostering a culture of safety amongst staff at all levels, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
